Job Location: Whistler Athletes Centre

The Whistler Athletes’ Centre is a high performance training and accommodation facility for all levels of sport, educational groups, and art & culture organizations. Built for the athletes of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, competitors continue to utilize the Whistler Athletes’ Centre for short-and long-term lodging and dryland conditioning. As the headquarters for the Whistler Adaptive Sports Program, and the Whistler Campus for the Canadian Sport Institute-Pacific, no other venue provides the level of accessibility and amenities for athletes like the Whistler Athletes’ Centre.
The Lead, Lodge Attendant is responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness at the Whistler Athletes’ Centre including Lodge, Townhomes, and High Performance Centre. 
This role is organized and friendly and works well leading a team while demonstrating the Whistler Sport Legacies’ philosophy that All Interactions Matter (AIM).  This seasonal full time position requires flexibility to work weekends and evenings.  Incentive bonus available for seasonal full time role.

The Whistler Sliding Centre is home to the fastest ice track in the world. Since hosting the bobsleigh, skeleton and luge competitions during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, the Whistler Sliding Centre continues to challenge the sports’ most elite athletes with international competitions, recruiting camps, and ongoing youth programs. Visitors are invited to tour the state-of-the-art facility, or experience the action first-hand with passenger bobsleigh (winter and summer) and skeleton rides (winter only) down part of the 1,450 meter-long ice track
Custodian, under the direction of the Manager, Track Operations provides custodial services for the Whistler Sliding Centre.  Duties include: cleaning and maintenance of facility buildings including washrooms, offices, staff, and athlete areas.  This is a seasonal full time role and requires ability to work weekends and evenings.   Incentive bonus available for seasonal full time role.

The Guest Activity Rep is the first point of contact with the Whistler Olympic Park guest.  This role provides excellent customer service to guests while assisting in their selection of product or service that most appropriately meets their needs.  In addition, they will endeavor to maximize sales by facilitating the promotion, sales, and booking of sport school instructional programs and drive business by targeting WSL products. The Snowshoe Guide/Shuttle Bus Driver is the first point of contact with the Whistler Olympic Park guest and ensures an optimum experience while adhering to guest safety and quality.  Responsibilities include interpretive snowshoe tours of 1 to 2 hours in length, safe pick-up and delivery of guests between their lodging and WOP, and is cross-trained in all aspects of the department.  Seasonal casual and full time roles available requiring availability to work weekends, evenings and holidays.  Incentive bonus available for seasonal full time roles.

The Winch Cat Operator at Whistler Olympic Park plays a key role in developing athletes for future Olympics by providing ideal conditions to learn and train on. The precise requirements of Ski Jumping and weather conditions of the Callaghan Valley provide an ideal challenge for the experienced operator to expand their skills and learn something new every day. The Winch Cat Operator is responsible for the day-to-day grooming and snow management of the Whistler Olympic Park ski jumps, snow and ski play areas, baseboarding slope as well as assisting the trail groomers. The safe and careful operation of a modern fleet of Pisten Bully and Prinoth snow cats, as well as snowmobile grooming equipment is required.  This Part Time seasonal role requires flexibility to work weekends and nights.

Duties include but are not limited to manual snow clearing, trail maintenance, ski jump preparation, and assisting ski patrol in their activities. The Sport Coach delivers coaching, instructional and educational programs to guests of Whistler Olympic Park (WOP).  Reporting to the Supervisor, Sport School duties include excellent customer service and assisting clients in selection of products or services that most appropriately meet their needs.   This temporary winter seasonal role requires the flexibility to assist the team with other activities or initiatives including the ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays - casual, part time and full time positions available.  Incentive bonus available for seasonal full time role.  Training to achieve basic sport coach qualifications available and will be discussed at interview.
