Discover Skeleton (for ages 14 and up)

The Whistler Sliding Centre in partnership with the B.C. Bobsleigh and Skeleton Association are offering the opportunity to try out the Olympic winter sport of Skeleton by sliding down the track on your own sled!

Join us at the Whistler Sliding Centre for this 2 hour sliding school, where a qualified coach will take you through the skills and techniques needed to become a skeleton athlete. After a brief orientation, you will walk the track and be fitted with a sled. With guidance from the coach, you will take your first 2 runs from the Maple Leaf start (1/3 of the way up the track) reaching speeds of up to 100 km/h on the Olympic track.
