National Large Hill Ski Jumping/Nordic Combined Championships
Whistler Sport Legacies, Ski Jumping Canada, and Own The Podium are bringing the National Large Hill Ski Jumping/Nordic Combined Championships to Whistler Olympic Park on March 31, 2012. This is the first time that the ski jumps will be open since the Games in February 2010. Free Admission for spectators!
Open Training: March 24 - April 1, 2012
National Team training camp and Open International training for men and women ski jump categories and nordic combined category.

Free Breakfast
Come one come all! Free pancake breakfast at the bottom of the ski jumps on Saturday, March 31. Suggested twoonie donation to event host Callaghan Winter Sports Club. Enjoy tasty pancakes, prepared by Whistler Cooks, while taking in the Large Hill Ski Jump Event.

Star-Studded Field
With the strong structural similarities between the Whistler Olympic Park ski jumps and the jumps constructed in Sochi for the 2014 Games, this year's National Championships Event has attracted some big names to the Park. Some star studded athlete's to keep your eye on include:
The Canadian Women's Team - Renowned for their dedication to the sport, the Canadian women's team played a pivotal role in establishing women's ski jumping as an Olympic sport for the 2014 Winter Games.
MacKenzie Boyd-Clowes - Canadian Record Holder in Ski Flying (194 m, set February 23, 2012).
Pascal Bodmer & Martin Schmitt - Both members of the German Team, Martin Schmitt has won numerous Olympic and World Cup medals in individual events and as part of the German Team. This includes being a member of the Silver medal team in the Ski Jumping team event in the Vancouver 2010 Olympics.
