Skeleton School

Youth and adults (ages 14+) that want to acquire in-depth skills required to race on a skeleton sled can enroll in one of our multi-day Skeleton School programs, which will be held from November to March. Schools generally occur three times during a winter season and take 3 days to complete.

In the school, the basic skills needed to steer a skeleton sled will be taught in theoretic sessions and practiced on ice. Over the course of the three days, skills will be developed so that participants are ready to join the Club Sliding program where athletes can further refine their skills and eventually move to the top of the Whistler track.
