HUB Fitness Whistler - Classes & More!

Participate in a variety of fitness classes at HUB Fitness Whistler! Classes with high quality, certified instructors are available Mondays to Fridays, in the mornings and afternoons/evenings to suit busy schedules.

Train in a friendly, non-competitive environment at the new multi-purpose gym space the Performance Hub' on the second floor of the Whistler Athletes’ Centre in Cheakamus Crossing! All training equipment is provided, such as Bosu, kettlebells, TRX straps, resistant bands and balls, balance boards, pilates balls, body bars, foam rollers, and plyometric soft box tops all heights, discs, hurdles, mats!

The HUB is also offering tailor-made training tools for individuals and groups, from space rental to personal training.

Moms, dads and caretakers:

The HUB is kid-friendly, feel free to bring your child along to watch and play while you are working out!

Fitness Class Descriptions

TRX Suspension Training®

The TRX Suspension Training® is a workout system that uses body weight and gravity to allow you to perform hundreds of exercises. Whether training for elite performance or just starting out, the TRX will help you simultaneously develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability. TRX Mixer classes will involve exercises on the TRX straps, with additional exercises using a variety of equipment.  

Total Body Circuit

The class will have a variety of exercises to build cardio and endurance, with the mix of strengthening exercises in a circuit format. Variety will increase your overall fitness level and ensure muscle balances. Each 60 min class will start with a warm up and end with a stretch. You will be fit for any physical activity you participate in.

HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training)                                                                                      

HIIT refers to training with intense efforts for a short bursts followed by slower/ shorter recovery periods. HIIT workouts are intense and burn a large number of calories. With a variety of exercises, you will walk away with a full body workout. Trainers will provide variations of exercises to ensure you are working out at your level to avoid any injuries.

20/20/20

In a 60 min class you will receive 20 minuets of Cardio to get the blood flowing and heart rate up. 20 minuets of Core to tone abdominals as well as create a solid base for your body. 20minuets of Mobility, improve the range of motion of your joints and muscles to improve your posture, which can alleviate everyday aches and pains.
