Responsible for three of Whistler's 2010 Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games Venues: the Whistler Sliding Centre, Whistler Olympic Park, and the Whistler Athletes' Centre.
Interactive Trail Map
The public cross-country trail system at Whistler Olympic Park includes 56 kilometers of recreational cross-country ski trails expertly groomed for both classic and skate skiing, ranging from beginner to expert caliber. Whistler Olympic Park also includes over 20 km of wilderness snowshoe trails, select dog-friendly terrain, and backcountry-access.
Whistler Olympic Park has recently completed building new maps for guests to better navigate the expansive network of trails offered and is pleased to launch our new interactive trail map.
The new map offers the following functionalities:
- Google Map integration: the ability to zoom and pan as you would on any Google Map.
- Trails overlaid on satellite imagery and/or terrain topographical map.
- Ability to see the trails and names of trails by hovering over the area of the trail.
- Ability to click on the trail to see a trail synopsis, including current grooming data.
