Grooming Summary

Good Morning. At 7:00 am the temperature was -5C with no new snow overnight. The sky was clear and it looks like it will be a beautiful day. The high moisture content of yesterdays snow and the freeze up over night is making for challenging grooming. The art and science of grooming is being stressed and you might find some sections with a crumblier than normal skate lane. After the first bunch of skiers, you will likely not notice this. The classic tracks are forming very well. Trail conditions will be firm and fast at first and as the day warms up skate skiing should be really good. Snowcats may be encountered during the morning. Enjoy your day. Snowdoc
