You don’t need to be a speed demon on skinny skis – choose from 3 distances. Bring a friend, bring your partner, bring your kid (ages 9+ welcome).  

Become a legend and earn some bragging rights.

Bring in the New Year with a challenge. Try a biathlon race in a fun, supportive, family friendly setting. 


Date: December 31, 2025 

Location: Biathlon Stadium, Whistler Olympic Park 

Who can race? Anyone aged  9 and up! 

What do I get to do? The race includes: 

  • 3 distance options: Ski laps of a 500M, 900M, or 1.5 KM course (for those of you who like a challenge) 
  • Ski 3 laps and 2 shooting bouts on a .22 or EcoAim rifle 
  • Safety orientation 
  • Practice rounds 

Times: 

  • 12:45pm: Bib pick-up 
  • 1:00pm: Rifle safety 
  • 1:30pm: Start 

Cost: 

  • Youth: $20 
  • Adults: $25 
  • Cost includes a day license from Biathlon BC 

Bring family, bring friends. Challenge them to a race. Become a legend with bragging rights.
