Whistler Olympic Park Toonie Race ❄️
Date
What’s a “Toonie” Race? It’s a community tradition where skiers come together for a fun, friendly race—or just a social cruise—on a set course. The name comes from the original $2 entry fee (a Canadian toonie!), though prices may have changed over the years. Whether you're in it to win it or just out for a good time, each race brings a new theme or twist to keep things exciting.
New this season, Whistler Olympic Park will offer two toonie races. Entry is just $5 per person. Inspired by our friends at Whistler Nordics, events are open to all guests (public and club members alike), all ages, and all abilities – sign up, ski, and socialize!
- Etiquette: Stay on trail, be polite when passing, have fun!
- Dates:
- January 14 (theme and format TBD – check our socials!)
- January 28 will be reserved as a rain date.
- Time: 6:00 pm – Meet outside the Cross-Country building
- Registration link TBD
