It’s official! After a busy off-season, we are delighted to announce the re-opening of Whistler Olympic Park and RV Campground as a premier destination for summer activities.
Nestled in the beautiful Callaghan Valley, the glacier views surrounding us are just the start. Here are the TOP reasons to make our campground near Whistler your summer destination.

1. Summer Access to the Park is Free
The park is open from 8 am to 8 pm daily. The front desk at the Day Lodge is open from 8 am to 5 pm and the retail shop from 8 am to 7 pm. Come say hello
Our impressive 11,000-square-foot Day Lodge is open to all, seven days a week. Here, you can unwind in the indoor common area or relax on the outdoor decks while enjoying breathtaking views of the nearby Brandywine and Metal Dome mountains.
Check in with our friendly and knowledgeable guest services staff for information about activities and the park. Be sure to stop by the store to refuel on snacks and drinks (including ice cream!). Wander through the Boutique for a great selection of outdoor apparel and souvenirs.

2. Room to roam… and a stellar group camping site
The campground located just outside Whistler offers spacious campsites with both full-service and unserviced options, as well as a NEW Group Camping Site for up to 20 tents or 6-8 RV’s! With kilometers of paved and gravel trails to explore, along with various open spaces, there's ample room for family, friends, dogs, and all your gear.
For those who wish they could sleep with their gear, we get it. Feel free to bring your bikes; we have space for everything. Book a Site!

3. Hiking, biking, sightseeing and premium access to iconic backcountry trails
Explore trails of different difficulty levels and bike or hike to breathtaking viewpoints. Challenge yourself with the signature hike, the “Ski Jump Scramble,” and climb to the top of the Olympic ski jumps. Ride your bike through wide multi-use trails and discover the summer version of our world-renowned cross-country ski trails.
The Callaghan region itself is a hiker’s joy, with lakes, waterfalls, glaciers, and pristine mountain vistas. Its raw beauty is ideal for adventurous souls looking to experience the majesty of the Alpine terrain. 4. Disc Golf Free-For-All
The Squamish Disc Golf Club, and the Whistler Disc Golf Club, have teamed up to build a NEW, exciting and FREE 9-hole course at Whistler Olympic Park! Weave through forest and ski trails as you perfect your form – the player with the least throws wins. Bring your own discs, rent or buy some at the Day Lodge.
5. Olympic Caliber On-Site Activity
Feel like an Olympian with an introduction to the winter sport of biathlon—in the summer! Learn to take aim and shoot a .22-caliber rifle at the Olympic shooting range. This is a super fun activity for groups of all sizes, with no previous experience necessary. Advanced booking is recommended. Available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

6. A Valley Filled with Award-Winning Adventure Operators
Experience the finest of Whistler's backcountry with a guided ATV or Off-Road Buggy tour! Navigate mountain trails, featuring a mix of expansive roads and single-track paths leading to viewpoints. Being located about 35 minutes north of Squamish and 25 minutes south of Whistler village means two things. The Park provides easy access to all the famous attractions of the world-renowned resort so you can enjoy the vibrant town life, shops, restaurants, and activities of Whistler and Squamish, then unwind in your serene mountain retreat after a busy day.
It also means that, if you live close by, you can road bike over, squeeze in a round of disc golf after work, or have an outdoor staycation in your favourite valley.
