Changes to Trail Access
Whistler Olympic Park Announces Changes to Trail Access Following Agreement Conclusion with Callaghan Country Wilderness Adventures, evo/The Callaghan
Whistler, BC – On September 11, 2024, Whistler Olympic Park and evo / The Callaghan decided to end the long-standing agreement between the two parties. As a result, each venue will now operate independently, offering distinct networks of trails and services.
While both are located within the Callaghan Valley, they have separate management and ticketing systems, so visitors will need to purchase different passes to access each area's trails.
Whistler Olympic Park day tickets and season passes will provide access exclusively to Whistler Olympic Park’s 55 km of expertly groomed ski trails for all abilities, 15 km of wilderness snowshoe trails, and a network of dog-friendly ski trails.
The team at Whistler Olympic Park remains dedicated to delivering a world-class cross-country skiing experience. "We will continue to go above and beyond to provide an unparalleled Nordic adventure for our guests here at Whistler Olympic Park," said Roger Soane, President & CEO of Whistler Sport Legacies.
Trails Affected The only trails that will be affected by this decision are a 400m section in front of the evo/The Callaghan Madeley Lake Loop and the Callaghan Connector. A bypass is already in place (Richards' Return) and will complete the Madeley Loop for a seamless experience.
Snowshoeing will now be available in Twilight Meadows.
