⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Group daytrip for snowshoeing in mid January 2026 and the conditions were absolutely amazing. It was pouring rain on the drive up the highway until we were about 1 hour away and slowly the rain turned to slush and then into gloriously large snowflakes. It snowed all day while we were there. Nine inches during the 5 hours we were on the mountain and it was still coming down when we left.  The mountain road from the highway to the to parking lot and lodge were no joke - make sure your vehicle can handle the road conditions! Can't wait to go back!

This has to be one of the finest nordic centers I have visited. Realizing The facilities, built for the Olympics, are first class. And though I wasn’t able to head out on the trails, the grooming around the ski and decathlon centers was fresh and crisp. This is a tribute to the workers that keep the facility in fine shape. The trail system for both skiing and snowshoeing looks to be quite extensive and I’m sure the landscape is beautiful.

It is PHENOMENAL. As first time skiers, we took the lessons. Micheal and Anek ( I hope I spelt the name right) taught us . They were through with teaching the basics. They were encouraging, supportive and very patient. Later, we joined Chris and Anek for a guided tour. That was phenomenal because we were introduced to the park under supervision of experts. They sneaked in more tips, tricks and techniques which giving the tour. After the tour, we practiced for 2 hours on our own. The whole experience was extraordinary. Thanks to the whole team at whistler olympic park .
